Dr. Lina Sönne Vyas

Lina is Associate Professor of Innovation & Entrepreneurship at the Desai Sethi School of Entrepreneurship (DSSE), IIT Bombay, Mumbai. Her work sits at the intersection of AI, business + entrepreneurship, and societal impact.

Previously, she was Associate Professor at FLAME School of Business, FLAME University, Pune, and at Jindal School of Liberal Arts & Humanities at Jindal Global University in Sonipat, Haryana. Before that, she set up and ran Inblick Innovation Advisory in Mumbai; built a research and consulting portfolio at Okapi Research & Advisory, Mumbai; and co-led research at Intellecap, Mumbai. Prior to moving to India, she was a researcher on innovation and technology policy with UNU-MERIT, the Netherlands and an Analyst in the early-stage investment team at NESTA, UK. 

Having lived, studied and worked across five countries, Lina combines a global outlook with deep experience in India, and brings a practitioner’s perspective to her academic work.

Vrushank is an engineering graduate who investigates the practical and ethical implications of artificial intelligence. His interactions with various stakeholders, including industry experts and policymakers, have provided him with unique perspectives on the adoption of AI in India. He seeks to further explore the consequences of intelligent systems on institutions and businesses.

Aadil has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in AI and ML with professional experience in development & implementation of intelligent systems. His writing examines the practical implications of AI-driven systems and their impact on changing economic and social systems. He is particularly interested in how emerging technologies are transforming decision-making, productivity, and the dynamics within institutions.
